Vintage 1940s approx UK size 10 duck egg blue floral print maxi dress.
Brand - Homemade but has been done well.
Condition - very good vintage condition for its age. There is one small little patch of discolourtion to the shoulder but it wouldn't even pick it up on a photograph so not at all noticeable.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
Made from what is probably a viscose fabric but its hard to tell and may have some cotton content.
It is a very pale duck egg blue with a really pretty red & purple ditsy floral print.
It also slips on over the head as no zip or other fastenings.
It has short drop style sleeves and a beautiful wide shirred elasticated waist panel.
It is maxi in length and unlined with a tiered detail just below the waist - typical of the period.
A really beautiful example of its kind and has obviously been well looked after. A very feminine and romantic piece.
Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
