Vintage 1970s RARE COLLECTOR'S ITEM'S By ANNE FOGARTY UK Size 12 White Blue Purple Orange & Pink Floral Print Iridescent Sequin Occasion Maxi Dress

Brand - Collector's Item's By Anne Fogarty.

Condition - Good vintage condition. There are a few little areas of missing sequins but you can't notice with them being iridescent sequins. I have reflected this in the price. 

Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear. 

This dress dates to early to mid 1970s as Anne Fogartys business closed in 1974. She started her fashion design career in 1948 working for Youth Guild. Another great label. She opened her own design house in 1963 soon after introduced this label and A.F.Boutique. Her dresses are rare. I have only ever had one other of her dresses in all the time I have been working with vintage. 

This gorgeous dress us made from a polyester fabric which has a little stretch to it.

It is white blue purple orange & pink floral print. Totally covered with clear iridescent sequins. As mentioned a few little patches were some are missing. Always the case with sequins shedding from these types of dresses. 

It has a round neckline to the front of the dress and fastens to the back of the dress with a zip.

It has long sleeves. 

It is maxi in length, quite column in style and unlined. 

With a large split up the left side seam. 

Would be lovely to wear to a spring wedding. 

I have said best fit size 12 but as there is some stretch it could be ok for 12-14. The measurements given are when laid flat and not stretched at all. You can add another inch on with the stretch.

 Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
