Vintage 1970s At Home Wear For Van Raalte UK Size 12-14 Purple Orange Blue & Brown Floral Stripe Velvety Velour Maxi Dress

Brand - By At Home Wear For Van Raalte 

Condition - Good vintage condition. There is a tiny little flaw in the fabric close to one of the buttons - see additional pics. 

It looks more blue than purple in the pics, but, it is purple!

Has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. 

I think originally this dress was a hostess gown. Given its called "At Home Wear" and Van Raalte they were well known for producing stockings, lingerie and nightwear. But, this is so wearable as a maxi dress. 

The top part of the dress is a silky sateen fabric in an orange blue & brown stripe and floral print. With block purple velvety feel velour "skirt"

It has a collared neckline and buttons down the front of the bodice to the waist. 

It has a small zip in the front of the skirt with one press stud.

It has belt loops at the waist for the addition of your own belt if required. 

With long sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with a button. 

It is maxi in length and unlined.
