Vintage 1930's 1940's Size 14 STUNNING Black Lace & Satin Backed Rayon Evening Occasion Gown

Brand - Homemade. 

Condition - very good condition for its age. It has one tiny little pin prick sized hole in the front of the bodice. Its not even a full hole. It looks like someone has gone to pin a brooch or corsage and then though better of it as the hole doesn't pierce through the fabric.

I think this is late 1930's to early 1940s. 

Homemade from a black lace and beautiful satin backed rayon crepe. 

It has a lace panels to either side of the front of the bodice. and, a large lace panel in the back.

With subtle horizontal ruching to the front of the bodice. 

It fastens to the top of the left shoulder with four press studs. 

And, on the inside of both shoulders there are little press stud fastening loops to attach the dress to your bra strap, or coat hanger. 

It has long lace sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with three lace covered buttons. 

And, stiff little peaked lining to the edge of the shoulder to add definition.

It also fastens to the side of the waist with five press studs. 

With a tie back fastening at the waist. 

It is maxi in length, bias cut and unlined.  

An absolutely beautiful piece that is timeless and the perfect addition to any vintage wardrobe.
