Vintage 1940's approx UK Size 10 beautiful white lace nightgown.
Brand - Unbranded.
Condition - In good vintage condition for its age. The elastic at the back of the waist has lost most of its stretch and there is some light discolouration where the elastic has change colour. There is also a horizontal flaw in the fabric on the back left side just below the waist - was very difficult to get it to show up properly in the photograph. These issues are reflected in the price.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
Made from what feels like a silky rayon fabric in white.
With white chantilly lace straps and waist panel detail to the front.
Slips on over the head.
It should be elasticated at the back of the waist but this has lost stretch, leaving the waist a little wider than it should be.
A full length nightgown.
A really pretty addition to any collection.
Please note that the nightdress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
