Vintage 1940s Rare BRILKIE MODELS UK Size 10 Black Mix Woven Wool Belted Pleated Wartime Era Dress

Condition - great vintage condition for its age other than a few holes on the front right side of the skirt near the hem. See additional close up pic. Doesn't detract and for an 80 year old dress its very good. I have reflected this in the dress as if it didn't have the holes this would be a £75-100 dress.

This lovely 1940s vintage day dress is made from a woven wool mix fabric. 

It is black with a woven red blue orange yellow & metallic gold thread. The gold thread is very very subtle and you have to look very closely. 

It has a v-neckline with square edge to it, with subtle pleating to the front of the bodice. 

With mid length sleeves. 

It has the original belt at the waist.

Fastening to the side with a metal zip.

It has a below knee length pleated, almost tulip style skirt that is unlined. 

It has front side pockets on the skirt.

With a small pleated split to the back.
