Vintage 1940s Size 10-12 Beautiful Duck Egg Blue Gaberdine Braid Bead & Shell Embellished Pleated Ballgown

Brand - Unbranded. Not homemade as there is a tiny size label in the neck.

Condition - Good vintage condition for its age. Some very light signs of general wear but over and above that nothing to note.

This gorgeous vintage dress is made from a gaberdine type fabric in duck egg blue. 

It has a sweetheart neckline to the front of the dress and a small v-neckline to the back. 

Fastening to the side of the dress with a metal zip.

It has is technically sleeveless with capped shoulders which covers the tops of the arms. There are embellished to the front with blue & silver thread braid trim with faux pearl and faux shell beads. 

It does have little belt loops at the waist for the addition of your own belt if required. However, they are the easily removable ones if preferred. 

It has a shorter maxi length, pleated skirt that is unlined. 

Just beautiful for a special occasion.
