Vintage Original 1940's Size 14-16 Black Rayon Long Sleeve Midi Dress

Condition - Generally in very good condition for its age. There is the start of a couple of little holes where the fabric is thinning but barely noticeable. There is one very small repair to the back of one sleeve at the top. And one missing button. For an original 1940's dress it is still very good. See close up pics. 

This lovely original 1940's day dress is made from a black rayon fabric. 

It has a collared v-neckline and buttons down the front of the bodice to the waist. 

It has long sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with two press studs. There is a lovely panelled section at the lower sleeve which gives it a lovely shape. 

It has a tie back belt at the waist to add shape. Fastening to the back with two press studs. With a mock button detail to make it look like it fastens with a button. 

It has a below knee length, flared skirt that is unlined. 

Whilst this does measure up to a size 16 I think the best fit is size 14-16 because of the top of the sleeves.
