Vintage 1950s ALFRED SHAHEEN UK Size 12 Black Polished Cotton Long Sleeve Fitted Dress

Brand - Alfred Shaheen. Honolulu

Condition - good vintage condition.

Has been freshly laundered.

Shaheen was one of the best known of the Hawaiian garment and textile designers of the 20th Century.He was active from 1948 right though in to the 1980's. He is best known for his floral full skirted dresses of the 1950's. This one here is from the 1950's but it is a a plain black fitted one so I have reflected it in the price.

This lovely classic black fitted dress is made from a polished cotton in black.

It has a collared v-neckline and it buttons down the front of the bodice to the waist. 

Fastening to the front of the waist with a hook.

It has long sleeves that fastens at the cuffs with a button.

It has a below knee length straight fitting skirt that is unlined. 

With a small split to the back of the skirt.
