Condition - The bag itself is in very good clean condition for its age. However there is a crack in the leather strap, but only the top layer of leather. Still very useable.
This beautiful vintage cocktail bag is made from a black velvet. But, the bag is partly structured so stays in position.
It has one grab handle to the top with gold tone hard ware.
The clasp is a push button clasp that releases the lock and pulls open with the little tab at the front.
There is black embroidered trim and braid trim detailing to both the front and back.
There is a sweet bow on the underneath of the bag, a beautiful touch often see in elegant bags like this where the bag was designed to be beautiful from every angle.
The inside is very clean and is lined with black leather.
One main compartment with three small wall pockets, one of which has a zip.
The main body of the bag measures 10" x 6"
