Vintage 1940s Size 8 Stunning Pale Green & Gold Paisley Brocade Halter Neck Belted Full Length Evening Gown

Brand - Homemade

Condition - Good condition for its age. It is homemade so not a professional finish. There is a small hole just up from the hemline so not noticeable.

This is a stunning evening gown. 

It is homemade from a pale green & gold brocade type fabric with a paisley type pattern. 

The dress has a plunging neckline but it is quite full so doesn't show a lot of cleavage. With subtle gather pleating to the bust area. 

It has a halter neck strap that slips on over the head. 

It has an open back and fastens to the side with a metal zip & hook.

It has bones at the back of the bodice which have been handsewn in creating quite obvious darts at the back. 

It has the original belt at the waist. 

The dress is a full length gown with a very full skirt that is unlined. 

Just beautiful for a special occasion.
