Vintage Late 1940s RARE ARTHUR BANKS Size 8-10 Black Rayon Satin Stripe Bow Detail Wiggle Party Dress

Brand - Arthur Banks
Condition - good vintage condition for its age. There is a little bit of pink colour run on the yellow satin stripes but you have to look very closely to see.
Arthur Banks was a British dressmaker and designer from the 1940s through to the early 1960s. His dresses are very hard to come by now.
This one is a late 1940's back satin backed rayon fabric.
With gold yellow & pink satin trim at the waist and bow detail.
It has a mock wrap style dress wiggle dress that has a cross over v-neckline to the front with very subtle pleating.
It is sleeveless and fastens to the side of the dress with a metal zip.
With shoulder pads to add some structure. They are a little bunched up and out of side.
It has a large bow detail to the front left side of the waist.
With a below knee length, wrap style skirt that is fitted and unlined.
Really gorgeous for Xmas party season.
