Vintage 1960s DYNASTY INTERNATIONAL Size 10 Chartreuse Bead Embellished Mod Special Occasion Party Dress

Condition - great vintage condition. 

This is a stunning dress, very good quality and this pics don't do it justice at all. 

This label was first established in 1953 by designer Dora Sanders. She started to manufacture clothing specifically style for Americans travelling to Asia. By 1959 The label was being sold by over 600s stores in the UK  with the likes of Neiman Marcus, I. Magnin and Lord & Taylor having exclusive rights to new styles well before they were sold to customers in Hong Kong. It opened its first retail store in London in 1966 and was very popular. 

This dress is made from a mid weight woven fabric. Not sure what it as no fabric labels. 

In a beautiful shade of chartreuse. 

It has a high round neckline that is heavily embellished with chunky beads and diamantes. In a floral pattern. 

The dress is sleeveless and fastens to the back with a metal zip and two hooks. 

It has a half belt that fastens to the back of the waist with a buckle. 

With a below knee length skirt that is fully lined. 

It has two large pockets to the front of the skirt which are also embellished with chunky beads and diamantes. 

Just beautiful for a special occasion. .
