Vintage Early 1970s CONTESA Size 10-12 Navy Blue Sleeveless Double Breasted Mod Shift Dress
Couldn't load pickup availability
Brand - Contesa
Condition - Good vintage condition. But please be aware that the white binding trim is now more of a white/grey as I think the navy blue has run a little. Unless it was always that colour to start off with. Hard to say.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
This lovely vintage mod shift dress is made from a cotton or cotton mix fabric. No composition labels in this piece so I can't be sure exactly what it is.
It is navy blue with binding trim.
It has a collared neckline and is sleeveless.
Fastening to the back of the dress with a metal zip.
There are buttons down the front of the dress in a double breasted style. But they are for decoration only, they don't actually fasten anything.
It is approx knee length, shift in style and is unlined.
Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
Vintage sizes often come up smaller than modern day sizes. For this reason we measure each of our garments and estimate the modern day size of it based on today's fashion industry standards.
Chest - 37"
Waist - 32"
Hips - 38"
Length - 36" shoulder to hem

For our international customers: Please be aware that you are responsible for any import duty, VAT and other taxes that might be applied in your country, so please research this before purchasing.
This now includes our American customers with the removal of the "de minimis" exemption from the 29th August. A tariff of 10% is due on items arriving from the UK. (If items are made in other countries a higher tariff applies, but, 99% of my items are made in the UK) To make things simple I will collect the tariff fee through a small increase in shipping costs on American orders and pay it on your behalf. This should mean your parcels arrive as normal without delay at customs.
