Condition - In good vintage condition.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
This gorgeous vintage maxi dress is made from 75%polyetser & 35% cotton in a cream, brown & dusky pink Persian pictorial scenes novelty print.
This type of print was frequently seen in Iranian antique/vintage textiles, rugs and miniature paintings. These miniature paintings were often used to illustrate epic poems.
The print is made up of lots of little scenes but there is a central figure on horseback which was a hallmark of storytelling prints.
It has an elasticated neckline with frill Bertha collar with lace trim detailing.
It fastens to the back with a zip and hook.
It is technically sleeveless but the collar covers the tops of the arms.
It is maxi in length with a tiered skirt that has a lace trim hemline.
Fully lined.
