Vintage 1970s size 12 black red & purple floral poppy print maxi dress.
Brand - Unbranded. Likely homemade but has been done well if it is.
Condition - In great vintage condition.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
Made from a polyester fabric in black with a gorgeous red purple & white floral poppy print.
It has a mandarin style neckline with two fabric frog closures to the front left side of the neck. These are for decoration and don't actually fasten anything up.
It is sleeveless and fastens to the back of the dress with a metal zip and hook.
It is maxi in length, column in style and unlined.
With a split up the left side seam.
It won't be as cinched in at the waist as shown, as I did have to pin it to the mannequin.
Vintage sizes often come up smaller than modern day sizes. For this reason we measure each of our garments and estimate the modern day size of it based on today's fashion industry standards.
