Vintage 1980s DESIGNER THIERRY MUGLER UK Size 8 Lilac Blue Mock Lace Up Detail 1940s Style Dress

Brand - Thierry Mugler 

Condition - Great vintage condition. 

Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.  

This gorgeous vintage dress is made from a lilacy blue shade. In some lights it looks blue and in other lights it looks lilac.

There are no fabric labels in this piece so can't be sure what the fabric is. It is synthetic. 

It has a collared v-neckline to the front of the dress with hidden popper fastening to stop it falling over. 

The collar is a really pretty shape with subtle pleating to the front of the bodice. 

It has mid length sleeves. 

It fastens down the rest of the dress with popper fastenings. But it is designed to look like it laces up at the waist. The corset style lace up detail is for decoration only. 

It has a midi length pleated skirt that is unlined. 

It is slightly longer at the front than the back.

With front side pockets. 

A stunning dress, with a 1940s edge to it, typical of Mugler's designs. It is well made a  beautiful addition to any vintage collection. 

Labelled as a size 38 but best fit I would say is UK 6-8 based on the measurements.
