Vintage 1980s LAURA ASHLEY DEADSTOCK Size 14-16 (Size 18 On Label) Dark Blue Green & Navy Blackwatch Tartan Check Midaxi Cotton Dress

Brand - Laura Ashley 

Condition - Deadstock item with original tags. One from my personal collection that I have never worn. Bought in a French vintage boutique. It has the original price tag on priced at $148. I paid 69 Euros for it. 

The dress is made from 100% cotton in blackwatch tartan check. 

It has a round neckline and buttons down the front of the bodice to the waist. 

It also fastens to the side of the dress. 

With long sleeves. 

It has a midaxi length, gather pleated skirt that is unlined. 

With one concealed side pocket.

It is labelled as a size 18 but it is coming up more like a size 14-16.

Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.

Vintage sizes often come up smaller than modern day sizes. For this reason we measure each of our garments and estimate the modern day size of it based on today's fashion industry standards.
