Condition - good vintage condition.
Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear.
This is a gorgeous velvet dress by Laura Ashley. In a rare colour. I have only ever seen this one in this colour once before.
It is made from a dark turquoise/teal velvet in 100% cotton.
It has a sweetheart neckline to the front of the dress and it fastens to the back of the bodice with fabric covered buttons.
It has mid length sleeves that are slightly puffed at the sleeves.
It has a midi length, gather pleated skirt that is unlined.
With concealed side pockets.
It is labelled as a size 14 but coming up more like a size 10 based on the measurements.
Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
Vintage sizes often come up smaller than modern day sizes. For this reason we measure each of our garments and estimate the modern day size of it based on today's fashion industry standards.
