Vintage 1980s MARION DONALDSON UK Size 6 Purple Velvet & Pure Silk Tartan Check Party Prom Evening Dress

Brand - Marion Donaldson.

Condition - good vintage condition. Please note that the belt is missing and there is a little press stud on each side of the waist where it used to attach. 

Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear. 

This gorgeous vintage party dress is such a beautiful jewel toned colour. 

The bodice is a purple velvet fabric and the skirt is 100% pure silk. 

It has a sweetheart neckline to the front of the dress with slightly off the shoulder short sleeves. With elasticated straps to stop the sleeves slipping down. 

It fastens to the back with a long strip of velcro and the bodice is boned at the front and back for support and structure. 

With a midi length very full, pleated prom style skirt that is lined with a sateen and net lining.

Perfect for Christmas party season.
