Vintage Early 1980s THE HOUSE OF NICHOLAS Size 8 Black Plisse Pleated Ballgown

Brand - The House Of Nicholas. London

Condition - Good vintage condition. There is teeny tiny little hole to the front of the skirt but it is lost in the folds. See pics.

Has been freshly laundered so is ready to wear. 

This is a stunning ball gown/occasion dress. 

It is made from a sateen feel polyester fabric in what I think is black. However, my friend, thought it was a brown black. Like black with a very very dark brown undertone. So just mentioning this in case it is not true black!! 

The dress has a wonderful plisse pleated double layered bodice.

Fastening to the back of the dress with a zip.

With thin shoulder staps. 

It has a ruched sash style waist band that runs all the way round. 

It is maxi in length, gather pleated and lined with layer of soft net and sateen. 

Just lovely for a special occasion.

Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
