Vintage 1980s UK Size 8 (Poss 8-10) Dark Green & Claret Tartan Check Bardot Neck Christmas Gown/Dress

Brand - Unbranded. 

Condition - Good vintage condition and a good quality piece.

This is fabulous dress and perfect for Christmas day. 

There are no labels in it so can't be sure what it is made from, although it does feel like a wool mix. 

In dark green & claret tartan check.

It has a dark claret purply red sateen bardot style collared neckline with subtle pleating to the front. It is ever so slightly elasticated at the shoulders so you can wear it on or off the shoulder. 

Fastening to the back with a zip.

The bodice is boned at the front and back for support and structure. 

With long sleeves. 

It has a maxi length gather pleated skirt that is unlined. There is loads of fabric in the skirt!

I have estimated best fit to be a size but it might be ok for size 8-10.

Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
