Vintage Early 1960s BAGCRAFT L.S MAYER Mod Purple Patent Clutch Handbag

Brand - Bagcraft/L.S Mayer. By Appointment to The Queen.
Condition - Good vintage condition. There are a couple of tiny little marks under the flap and there are some markings to the inside.
At first glance this is a very "80" piece. But the label dates it to late 1950s/Early 1960s.
The label bears the brand name of Bagcraft and the makers name L.S Mayer. Mayer held the prestigious Royal Warrant Of Appointment to Queen Elizabeth from 1955 until the company ceased operations in 1967. So this puts the bag no later than 1967.
It is the most gorgeous vibrant purple patent leather.
A small thin clutch handbag with flap front that fastens with a popper fastening.
Inside is lined with black vinyl lining and has one compartment with small wall pocket.
Please be aware you could not fit more more than your phone money and a lippy in here!!
Measures 26cm x 12cm.
This is a really nice thing. The colour pops and it is a really nice shape and size to just sit in your hand.
