Condition - good vintage condition. It looks like it has a mark on the front of the bodice but it is just the way the studio light is catching it. It is so hard to photograph black well!
This is a lovely early 1960s dress that is made from a black satin, almost grosgrain type fabric in black.
It has a round neckline and it fastens to the back with a zip.
With short sleeves.
It has three black velvet strips and a bow to the front of the bodice. Making it look like it laces up, but it doesn't. It is for decoration only.
With a below knee length, flared pleated skirt that is unlined.
Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.
