This is a very collectable rare label these days. It is by Colin Glascoe. He was a British fashion designer at the height of his career in the 1960's. His sought after designs were sold at high end department stores like Harrods & Liberty.

This is a beautiful draped style maxi dress, a little bit kaftan in style.

It is made from a slinky pewter colour fabric. There are no composition labels in this so can't be sure that it is made from.

It has a v-neckline to the front with gather pleating to the front and back of the bodice.

It has long sleeves with button fastening cuffs.

With a large beaded applique detail to the front of the waist.

It has a maxi length, gather pleated empire line skirt that is unlined.

Just beautiful for a special occasion.

Please note that the dress is being shown pinned to fit the mannequin.

Vintage sizes often come up smaller than modern day sizes. For this reason we measure each of our garments and estimate the modern day size of it based on today's fashion industry standards.

Chest - 37"

Waist - 40"

Hips - Free

Length - 58" shoulder to hem
