Vintage Early 1970s GLEN ABBEY Size 12-14 Dark Pink Tones Nouveau Scarf Print Satin Feel Belted Midi Dress

Brand - Glen Abbey 

Condition - Good vintage condition. 

Glen Abbey, was the leading manufacturer in Ireland of knitwear, sportswear, slumber wear and underwear. This beautiful piece was likely a house coat, hostess gown or leisure wear. 

But it is far too beautiful to only be worn indoors and is totally wearable as a dress. 

There are no fabric labels in this that I can see but it is a beautiful fabric that has a satin feel it. Almost like silk jacquard but it is printed rather than woven. 

In dark pink tones Nouveau inspired scarf print. 

It has a high round neckline and fastens all the way down the front of the bodice with fabric covered buttons. 

It has 3/4 length sleeves with triple layered slightly flared cuffs. 

With the original tie fastening belt at the waist which just sits on the waist as there are no belt loops.

It has a maxi length, gather pleated skirt that is unlined.
