Brand - Elka Couture
Condition - Great vintage condition and a good quality piece.
There are no fabric labels in this so can't be sure what the fabric is. It is a slub fabric so could be raw silk. But, it is quite a heavy piece so might be something else.
It is a lovely royal blue shade with guipure lace bodice to both the front and back of the bodice - showing a puce colour lining underneath.
The dress is a dress but it s a coat style and is split most of the way up the front of the skirt. But it slightly wraps over so it isn't open.
It has a collared neckline and it buttons down the front of the bodice. However, it actually fastens with press studs that are hidden behind the buttons.
It has long sleeves.
With the original belt at the waist.
It has a mid length, straight fitting skirt that is fully lined.
A really gorgeous dress that the pics don't do justice at all.
