Condition - In good vintage condition for its age. Nothing to note other than light signs of general wear.
A lovely late 1940s post war day dress.
It is a darker blue shade and made from what feels like cotton or rayon or a blend of both. It has a slightly raised wavy texture to the fabric.
It features a gathered yoke with contrast cream bow and collar piping.
Fastening down the front of the bodice with press studs, hidden behind clear buttons.
It has long sleeves with press stud fastening cuffs.
With its original belt at the waist that fastens to the back with a press stud.
It has a pleated, just below knee length skirt that is unlined.
With two large patch pockets to the front.
A charming made at home piece with classic styling.
