Brand - Unbranded. Probably homemade.
Condition - Generally in good vintage condition but to either side of the edge of the neckline there is a little damage. I think it may have had some embellishment around the neckline originally, and it has been removed, leaving a little damage - see close ups. Reflected in the price as it would have been listed for more like £45.
This lovely vintage fit & flare swing style dress is made from a satin acetate fabric in black & pink square pattern.
It has a square neckline and it fastens down the front of the bodice with buttons and there is hook to the top of the neck.
With a metal zip fastening to the side of the dress.
It has short sleeves with subtle ruching to the outside edge of the cuffs. It has triangular under arm gusset panels, typical of the era, which aided movement.
It has a mid length very full swing style skirt that is unlined.
With two large feature pockets with pointed fold over flaps.
Such a lovely dress, typical of its time.
