Vintage 1940s Size 8 Pretty Blue & White Grid Square Print Cotton Blend Pleated Day Dress

Brand - Homemade.

Condition - good vintage condition for its age. Some light signs of general wear but for 80+years old it is very good.

This pretty vintage day/tea dress is made from what feels like a cotton or cotton mix fabric in blue & white grid check print. 

It has a high round neckline with white trim and small tie fastening to the front of the neck. 

It fastens to both the back and side of the dress with metal zip. Two zips in dresses was a common feature in the 1940s. Especially those dress with a higher neckline, like this one has. 

It is virtually sleeveless. 

With a below knee length, pleated, flared skirt that is unlined.
