Vintage Spanish Toledo damascene galleon ship brooch.
Condition - Great vintage condition for its age.
Damascening is the art of inlaying different metals into one another. These pieces are made for the tourist market in Toledo, Spain. There is a long history in this art and I think this piece is from the 1950s
This lovely brooch is in the shape of a Galleon ship.
Fastens to the back with a pin and simple C-clasp.
It measures 3.5cm x 3.5cm
